FOUNDER & ARCHITECT
Founder
Esra Karagoz is a New York State Registered Architect, award-winning designer, and founder of onE.GLobe. Her work has been recognized internationally, including the German Design Award, Architizer A+ Awards, and multiple global design competition for innovation at the intersection of architecture, building performance, and computational design.
Esra’s multidisciplinary background spans mixed-use and multifamily development, adaptive reuse, aviation and infrastructure, institutional and civic facilities, high-end hospitality, workplace, biotech, and flagship retail. She has led projects from early feasibility through permitting and construction administration, including complex landmark rehabilitations and major ground-up developments in New York City.
This breadth enables Esra to navigate architectural delivery, building performance, regulatory frameworks, and development strategy with fluency. Her work integrates Passive House envelope strategies, LL97 compliance planning, retrofits and electrification, capital and incentive considerations, and feasibility analysis to support informed decisions for owners, developers, and institutions.
Esra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, complemented by real estate development and finance studies at NYU. This combination strengthens her role as an architect and development strategist, aligning design excellence with feasibility, incentives, compliance, and long-term asset performance.
Through onE.GLobe, Esra focuses on helping teams plan and deliver high-performance buildings and existing-asset retrofits that meet design goals, regulatory requirements, and financial realities across the five boroughs of New York City.
